Presidential press secretary Dmitri Peskov speaks at the session titled 'Liberation of the world from Nazism. The role of the USSR' during the 'Znanie.Pervye' federal educational marathon in Moscow on Wednesday, April 30.
This year's event from the Russian Society 'Znanie' is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War - also known as WW2 - as well as its role in history and its significance for the present and future of Russia.
More than 25,000 young people, veterans, war correspondents, politicians, economists, scientists, cultural and artistic figures are taking part in the event.
