The 'New Trends in International Co-operation' session focused on Africa and Russia is held at the 4th Eurasian Women's Forum in St Petersburg, on Wednesday, September 18.
Among the participants are spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova, Minister of Sport and Recreation of the Togolese Republic Lidi Bessi Kama, Vice-President of the Republic of Uganda Jessica Rose Epel Alupo, as well as representatives from Namibia, Zimbabwe, Egypt, and others.
They are expected to discuss issues relating to co-operation between Russia and Africa, joint projects implemented in science, technology, education, and humanitarian work.
The Eurasian Women’s Forum is held over three days, from September 18-20. Its main theme is 'Women for Strengthening Trust and Global Co-operation’.
