UK, Germany, Ukraine defence ministers hold joint press conference

Defence ministers of the United Kingdom, Germany and Ukraine hold a joint press conference in Brussels on Wednesday, June 4, following a meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group.

Earlier, NATO chief Mark Rutte insisted the US - which used to host the group - was still committed to the alliance, after it emerged the US defence minister would not attend.

He also confirmed that Ukraine was invited to the upcoming NATO Summit - but would not say whether President Volodymyr Zelensky would be there.
