Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives in Baku on Sunday, August 18, for a state visit, scheduled on August 18-19.

The main topics for negotiations between the leaders of the two countries are set to be the issues related to the further development of Russian-Azerbaijani relations as a strategic partnership and alliance, as well as current international and regional matters.

The heads of state are also expected to sign intergovernmental documents along with other agreements.
