Pope Leo XIV returns to Uruguay's capital, Montevideo, on Saturday, November 7, to meet local residents and educators before leading an evening prayer vigil at the city's Centenario Stadium.
Following an open-air Mass in Paysandu, the pontiff is scheduled to visit the Casavalle neighbourhood, where he will meet members of the local community.
He will then meet representatives of the education community at the Catholic University of Uruguay, before concluding the day with a prayer vigil expected to draw thousands of worshippers.
The engagements are part of Leo XIV's 12-day apostolic tour of Uruguay, Argentina and Peru.
