Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva rallies supporters in Sao Paulo on Saturday, October 3, in his final campaign event before the country's general election on Sunday.
Lula, who is seeking a fourth non-consecutive term, will be joined by Vice President Geraldo Alckmin, Sao Paulo gubernatorial candidate Fernando Haddad and Senate candidates Marina Silva and Simone Tebet for a campaign-closing walk through the city.
Lula faces Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, the eldest son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, as his main challenger in Sunday's presidential vote. Brazilians will also elect governors, senators and federal and state lawmakers. If no presidential candidate wins more than 50 percent of valid votes, the two leading candidates advance to a runoff on October 25.
