Chinese President Xi Jinping concludes his US state visit on Friday, September 25.
Trump and First Lady Melania Trump welcome Xi and Peng Liyuan at the White House, before hosting them for tea in the Red Room.
The two leaders and their spouses then visit the National Archives ahead of their departure.
The visit included a formal White House welcome, bilateral talks and a lavish state dinner. The pair discussed trade, artificial intelligence and global conflicts.
Xi told Trump AI had to remain in 'human control', after the US president dubbed fears about the technology a 'hoax'. The Chinese leader also urged his counterpart to avoid the 'Thucydides Trap' - or inevitable war between a rising power and an established one.
