US President Donald Trump meets Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in New York on Tuesday, September 22, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
It comes after Trump reportedly demanded Zelensky stop strikes on Russian oil refineries amid the global energy crisis - as Russia held its parliamentary elections.
The two leaders are expected to discuss a limited truce on strikes on heating and power facilities - with France's Emmanuel Macron also pushing Zelensky towards such a deal in their own meeting on Monday.
Trump's envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner visiting Kiev and Moscow earlier this month.
