
Russian President Vladimir Putin attends the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi on Saturday, September 12.
Putin joins leaders and high-level representatives of BRICS countries for talks focusing on key global and regional issues, co-operation and the future of the partnership.
The summit is also expected to address the reform of global governance and strengthening multilateral co-operation.
The Russian delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Maxim Oreshkin.
Following the talks, Putin and other leaders are expected to attend a series of events marking the BRICS anniversary, including a joint visit to exhibitions and a tree-planting ceremony.
