The traditional equestrian game 'Tyyn emei' ('raise a coin') takes place at the VI World Nomad Games in Bishkek on Friday, September 4.
Tyiyn Enmei is a traditional national game widely practiced among nomadic peoples. It is a contest of agility, quick reaction, and precision. The essence of the game lies in picking up coins from the ground while riding a horse.
Among the participating countries are Bangladesh, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and others.
The World Nomad Games is an international platform that brings together different cultures, traditions, values and sporting disciplines. They were first held in 2014.
The iconic, international cultural and sports event dedicated to nomadic peoples is held from August 31 to September 6.
