Roscosmos broadcasts a live stream of the deep, partial lunar eclipse from the Baltic Bay in Russia's Kaliningrad region on Friday, August 28.
Locals are also able to watch from an observation site in the village of Yantarny.
The eclipse begins very early in the morning, just before dawn. Around 96 per cent of the Moon will be in the Earth's shadow - an almost total eclipse - and take on a reddish hue.
