Live from Buenos Aires on Thursday, August 27, for the latest partial lunar eclipse.
It coincides with August's full moon, traditionally known as the Sturgeon Moon, and the eclipse begins on the evening of August 27 right across the Americas.
It will be a particularly visual partial lunar eclipse, with around 96 per cent of the Moon's disk expected to pass into Earth's darker inner shadow.
At its peak, the eclipsed portion of the Moon may take on a striking reddish or copper colour, giving the event an appearance close to a total lunar eclipse.
