Live from Beijing as the World Humanoid Robot Games concludes on Wednesday, August 26.

The event has already seen a Chinese robot beat Usain Bolt's 100m world record, with its 9.32 seconds smashing the sprinter's 9.58-second time.

From August 22-26 teams and developers put their robots through a series of challenges designed to test their abilities in real-world and sporting scenarios.

Organizers say the games are designed not only as a sporting spectacle, but also as a platform to showcase advances in humanoid robotics and artificial intelligence.
