Live from Fnideq, Morocco, on Saturday, August 1, with views of the border area following an unprecedented mass crossing into Spain's Ceuta exclave.

Tens of thousands have poured into Fnideq and moved towards the border in recent days, triggering a major security response from Moroccan and Spanish authorities.

At least 67 people have died during the crossing, according to the Spanish government.

Many of those who reached Ceuta have since returned to Morocco after spending the night outside and learning they would not be able to regularise their status or travel onwards to mainland Spain.
