Egyptian football fans gather in El Alamein City on Friday, July 10, to welcome the national team home following its historic campaign at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The tournament came to an end for Egypt at Atlanta Stadium with a 3-2 defeat to defending champions Argentina in the Round of 16, sending Argentina through to the quarter-finals.
The Pharaohs enjoyed their best-ever World Cup performance, finishing the group stage unbeaten and reaching the knockout stage for the first time in the nation's history.
