Iran said it launched strikes toward Israeli territory in response to Israeli attacks on Beirut's Dahiyeh district earlier on Sunday. Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya military headquarters stated: "We warned that if crimes in Beirut expand, we will attack."

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it has detected missiles 'launched from Iran' and are working to intercept the threats.
