Russian President Vladimir Putin speaks at the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum in Astana on Thursday, May 28.

The plenary session - 'The EAEU in the Global Digital Race: Betting on Artificial Intelligence' - also includes leaders and representatives of the Eurasian Economic Union member states.

Putin is expected to outline his assessment of AI development and present Russia’s vision for its integration and use as part of Eurasian co-operation.

Following the forum, the heads of state are expected to adopt a joint statement on the implementation of technology and artificial intelligence, after which they will visit a specialised exhibition dedicated to the EAEU countries’ achievements in the field of AI.
