Live from Sidon on Friday, April 17, as displaced residents begin returning to their homes following a historic ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon.
US President Donald Trump announced the 10-day truce on Thursday, following 'excellent' calls with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun.
The White House said the ceasefire is intended to provide 'breathing room' for direct negotiations with the aim of reaching a lasting peace and securing the disarmament of Hezbollah.
The agreement follows rare US-mediated talks in Washington DC, earlier this week, the first direct engagement between Israeli and Lebanese officials in more than three decades.
