Worshippers gather in Tehran on Saturday, March 21, for Eid al-Fitr prayers following the end of Ramadan, as celebrations take place under heightened security and the ongoing conflict.

Crowds are set to attend morning prayers at mosques and open spaces across the capital, in line with the traditional start of Eid, which begins with communal prayer and family gatherings.

The religious holiday comes as Iran remains in a period of national mourning following the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on February 28 in US-Israeli airstrikes.
