Live from Baabda overseeing Beirut’s southern suburbs on Saturday, March 7, as Israel continues strikes amid renewed escalation with Hezbollah.

Israel carried out attacks on southern Lebanon and parts of Beirut’s southern suburbs this week, saying it was in response to Hezbollah's cross-border strikes.

Hezbollah said its own attacks were in retaliation for the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, and in response to the 'repeated Israeli attacks' since the ceasefire agreement in November 2024.

Lebanese Health Ministry officially announced that 217 people were killed, and 798 others were wounded due to the Israeli airstrikes since the dawn of Monday March 2nd.
