President Donald Trump delivers his State of the Union address before a joint session of Congress at the US Capitol in Washington DC on Tuesday, February 24 (GMT February 25).

The address will outline his administration’s assessment of the country and legislative priorities, as required by the Constitution, and marks Trump’s first State of the Union of his second term.

It comes following escalation with Iran, talks with Russia and Ukraine - and, closer to home, concerns about domestic 'civil war' following ICE immigration raids and counter-protests. At least a dozen Democratic lawmakers are set to boycott the speech and attend a rally outside.
