NASA SpaceX Crew-12 mission: rendezvous and docking to ISS

NASA and SpaceX Crew-12 begins rendezvous and docking with the International Space Station (ISS) on Saturday, February 14.

Crew-12 includes NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev. The launche, with SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket and the Crew Dragon capsule 'Freedom', took place on Friday.

They are set to remain aboard the ISS for an extended mission of approximately nine months, longer than the typical six-month rotation.

This marks the 12th crew rotation mission with SpaceX and the 13th human spaceflight under NASA’s Commercial Crew Programme.
