
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s state visit to India, touching down in New Delhi on Friday, December 5.
During the visit, Putin holds talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the strategic partnership between Russia and India - encompassing politics, trade and economics, scientific and technological issues, and cultural and humanitarian co-operation - as well as current international and regional matters.
The talks are expected to result in the adoption of a Joint Statement and the signing of a number of bilateral interdepartmental and commercial agreements.
Putin is also scheduled to have a separate meeting with President of India Droupadi Murmu.
Putin arrived in India on a state visit on Thursday, December 4.
The Russian delegation reportedly includes Defence Minister Andrey Belousov, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, and other officials.
