The UN Security Council holds its monthly meeting on ‘Middle East, including the Palestinian Question’ in New York City on Monday, November 24.

Council members are expected to discuss the implementation of the 20-point peace plan, the first phase of which was agreed between Israel and Hamas in October.

It covers the ceasefire, exchange of hostages and prisoners, and humanitarian aid, with future phases on post-war governance and redevelopment of the enclave.
