Ukrainian, US and European officials meet in Geneva to discuss draft peace agreement

Live outside the US Mission in Geneva as national security advisers from France, Germany, the UK, Ukraine, and the United States hold consultations on Sunday, November, 23, over the US-backed draft peace framework for Ukraine.

The meeting precedes a special session on Ukraine scheduled for Monday in Luanda, taking place alongside the EU–Africa Summit.

European leaders have welcomed Washington’s outline as a potential basis for negotiations, while stressing that several elements of the 28-point proposal must be revised.

Concerns previously raised by EU officials centre on provisions related to territorial borders and a suggested reduction in Ukraine’s military capacity.
