Mexico City marks the 115th anniversary of the start of the Mexican Revolution with a civic-military parade on Thursday, November 20.
The event begins at the Zocalo and moves along 5 de Mayo and Paseo de la Reforma before reaching the Monument to the Revolution.
Over 3,000 participants are set to join the parade, including military units, historical re-enactors and other floats.
The Mexican Revolution began in 1910, reshaping the country’s political and social order and becoming one of the defining events of modern Mexican history.
President Claudia Sheinbaum dismissed suggestions of any changes or cancellations following reports of more Generation Z protests.
