The 47th ASEAN Summit takes place on Monday, October 27, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), bringing together leaders from across Southeast Asia for the final round of high-level meetings of the year. The summit, hosted under Malaysia’s chairmanship, is presided over by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Member states are expected to review the bloc’s progress on economic integration, regional security and cooperation initiatives ahead of next year’s rotating chairmanship.
