Dozens of cars were seen on display in Burkina Faso's Ouagadougou on Sunday as the country held the 3rd edition of the International Motor Show (SIAF).
Footage also shows cars taking part in a parade with some leaving their doors open to showcase their designs and features.
Visitors were seen admiring both traditional models from car brands such as Toyota, KIA and Mercedes as well as newer and eco-friendly models that were displayed for the show.
Show promoter Ali Ouedraogo explained that the SIAF also provides a venue for mechanics, dealers, banks, insurance companies and professional painters to assist car owners and enthusiasts.
"We set up this show to provide advice to users," he said. "It's also an opportunity to be accompanied by a car professional to find a good vehicle. For this year's show, the innovation and talent of the players in this field was highlighted."
This year, the organisers decided to encourage a local manufacturer and award them for their innovation. The award recognises the design of the car body and the quality and reliability of the engine.
