US President Donald Trump continues his official visit to the Middle East on Wednesday, May 14, where he will join the heads of all six Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) states at a summit in the Saudi capital.
The GCC is a regional organisation comprising six Middle Eastern countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
From Riyadh, Trump is expected to travel to Doha for bilateral talks with Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. On Thursday, he will continue his trip to Abu Dhabi to meet UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
