Events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory Day take place in Moscow, with Russian President Vladimir Putin and foreign leaders attending.
On May 10, Putin is scheduled to meet with foreign heads of state.
General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam will hold talks with the Russian leader. The negotiations will be in a narrow format, following which joint declarations will be adopted and a number of documents will be signed.
Next, the president will have six more meetings with representatives. He will meet President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa, President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas, President of Burkina Faso Ibrahim Traore, President of Abkhazia Badra Gunba and President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev.
Around 30 leaders visited the capital for this year's celebrations, while troops from 13 countries took part in the iconic Parade on Red Square.
Putin holds more than 15 bilateral meetings with representatives of invited countries over the three days of V-Day events.
