Events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory Day take place in Moscow, with Russian President Vladimir Putin and foreign leaders attending.
On May 7, Putin is scheduled to have official meetings with President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro, with the signing of a strategically important partnership agreement between the two countries.
The Russian leader will also hold bilateral meetings with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel and Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh. The final working meeting of the day will be negotiations with the President of the Republic of Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso.
More than 30 leaders will arrive in Moscow for the celebrations. Representatives from 13 countries will also take part in the Parade on Red Square.
Putin will hold more than 15 bilateral meetings over the three days of official events with representatives of invited countries.
