Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and many other world leaders participate in the annual World War II Victory Day Parade on Moscow’s Red Square on Friday, May 9.
In addition, the leaders of Cuba, Brazil, Mongolia, Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Indonesia and Serbia have been announced, with many others and their delegations expected.
Last year, more than 9,000 servicemen and over 70 vehicles took part in the event, which honours the memory of those who fought fascism.
This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Red Army’s victory over Nazi Germany.
