NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba hold a joint press conference in Tokyo on Wednesday, April 9.
The leaders are expected to discuss shared security concerns and global developments, including Ukraine and regional tensions in East Asia.
It concludes Rutte’s first official visit to Japan since taking office and is also the first by a NATO leader in two years.
