EU leaders arrive in Brussels for the two-day European Council meeting, ahead of discussions on Ukraine, European defence, and economic competitiveness on Thursday, March 20.

Leaders are set to review military aid for Kiev following the latest phone call between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.

They will also discuss boosting defence spending, after the European Commission's ReArm Europe plan proposed investing up to €800 billion, as well as developments in Gaza and Syria.
