NASA astronauts set for second ISS spacewalk of 2025

NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore conduct their second spacewalk of the year outside the International Space Station (ISS) on Thursday, January 30.

During the spacewalk the astronauts will remove a radio frequency group antenna assembly from the station's truss, collect surface material samples for analysis, and prepare a spare joint for the Canadarm2 robotic arm.

Additionally, they will examine the Quest airlock to investigate the potential presence of microorganisms on the exterior of the orbital complex.
