The UAE's most advanced Earth observation satellite MBZ-SAT launches aboard a Falcon 9 rocket in Vandenberg Space Force Center in USA on Tuesday, January 14.
Designed and developed by Emirati engineers at Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC), MBZ-SAT is set to be the country's most sophisticated imaging satellite, operating at an altitude of 613 kilometres.
It will provide high-resolution imagery to support urban planning, environmental monitoring, water quality assessment, and agricultural development, marking a milestone in the UAE's fast-growing space exploration programme.
