
Heads of State and Government gather in Cuenca in Ecuador, for the XXIX Ibero-American Summit of Heads on Friday, November 15.
Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa will host the opening session. Spanish King Felipe VI, President of Argentina Javier Milei, President of Paraguay Santiago Pena, and the Dominican Republic’s Luis Abinader are also expected to participate in the event.
Representatives from 22 countries will attend the summit, including 19 Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries from Latin America, plus Andorra, Spain and Portugal.
The next summit is to be held in Spain in 2026.
