NATO defence ministers convene for the first day of meetings of the North Atlantic Council at headquarters in Brussels on Thursday, October 17.
Newly-appointed NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin will deliver remarks ahead of the session.
The key focus is set to be ongoing support for Ukraine in the conflict with Russia, with Volodymyr Zelensky outlining his own 'Victory Plan' in recent days.
Zelensky and Rutte are scheduled to hold a joint press conference following today's meeting.
The talks will wrap up on Friday.
