    The opening session of the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) 68th annual General Conference begins in Vienna, Austria, on Monday, September 16.

    IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi will report on the Agency's work and achievements over the past year, with representatives from 178 member countries attending.

    The plenary session itself will address the IAEA's nuclear safety and security activities, as well as specific issues related to Ukraine, the Middle East and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
