    The parade in honour of Russian Navy Day takes place in St Petersburg on Sunday, July 28.

    This year, more than 20 ships will take part in the parade, including small missile, anti-submarine, corvettes, minesweepers, the patrol ship Sochi and the sailing ships Kruzenstern, Mir and Sedov.

    Russian Navy Day was established by presidential decree on May 31, 2006, and is traditionally celebrated on the last Sunday in July.
