Brazilian presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro holds a campaign rally on Sao Paulo's Avenida Paulista on Sunday, October 18, ahead of the upcoming presidential runoff.
Bolsonaro is campaigning alongside Sao Paulo Governor Tarcisio de Freitas, Mayor Ricardo Nunes and other political allies.
The rally comes two weeks after Bolsonaro narrowly topped the first round of voting on October 4, securing 47.03% of valid votes against 45.16% for incumbent President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
Recent opinion polls point to a closely contested runoff, with recent surveys giving Bolsonaro 51% of valid voting intentions against Lula's 49%, placing the candidates in a statistical tie within the poll's two-percentage-point margin of error.
Brazil's presidential runoff is scheduled for Sunday, October 25.
