SpaceX launches Starship, the world's most powerful rocket, from Starbase, Texas, on Monday, September 28, for its 14th flight test and first attempt to reach Earth orbit.

Standing about 124 metres tall, Starship is expected to carry next-generation Starlink V3 satellites, in what would be the vehicle's first deployment of operational payloads into orbit.

The spacecraft is expected to remain in orbit for around 10 hours before carrying out a deorbit burn and returning to Earth.

Flight 14 marks a new phase in SpaceX's development of Starship as a fully and rapidly reusable launch system, built to carry satellites and cargo into orbit, with future missions planned for the Moon and Mars.
