Thousands of workers, pensioners, students and members of social movements take to the streets of Buenos Aires on Saturday, September 19, as more than 200 organisations mobilise for what has been dubbed the 'March of Anger'.

Protesters are set to demonstrate against President Javier Milei's austerity measures and call for a general strike.

For Milei's administration, austerity and spending cuts are central to efforts to stabilise Argentina's economy after years of economic crisis. Protesters, however, argue that ordinary people are bearing a disproportionate share of the cost.
