Russian President Vladimir Putin holds separate meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on Monday, August 31.

Putin is expected to meet Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev later in the evening, following an official dinner.

The talks come ahead of the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation (SCO) Summit, which brings together leaders from across Eurasia to discuss regional security, economic co-operation and further development of the organisation.

Putin is set to attend the SCO Summit in Bishkek on September 1, with further bilateral meetings with participating leaders also expected.
