The opening ceremony of the VI World Nomad Games takes place at the brand new Bishkek Arena stadium in Kyrgyzstan's capital on Monday, August 31.
The iconic, international cultural and sports event dedicated to nomadic peoples is held from August 31 to September 6.
Kyrgyzstan is also hosting the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation summit, with SCO leaders invited to the opening of the Games too.
The World Nomad Games is an international platform that brings together different cultures, traditions, values and sporting disciplines. They were first held in 2014.
