Russian President Vladimir Putin chairs a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects in Moscow on Wednesday, August 19.

The meeting will focus on implementing the plan for structural changes in the Russian economy until 2030.

Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak will deliver a report. Finance Minister Anton Siluanov will discuss ensuring balanced budgets for Russia’s regions in 2026–2029, while Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Government Staff Dmitry Grigorenko will talk about work with the regions to achieve the country’s national development goals.
