Thousands of dancers and musicians take part in La Gran Entrada, the main parade of Bolivia's Festividad del Senor Jesus del Gran Poder - the Festival of the Lord Jesus of the Great Power - in La Paz on Saturday, August 1.

More than 95,000 dancers and 35,000 brass musicians from 74 groups are expected to fill the streets in a procession lasting up to 16 hours. The parade is one of South America's largest cultural celebrations, blending religious devotion with Bolivia's rich folkloric traditions.

The festival showcases dozens of traditional dances, led by the iconic Morenada, alongside performances of the Diablada, Caporales, and Tinku. Participants spend thousands of dollars on elaborate hand-crafted costumes.
