Live from Bogota as polling stations open across Colombia on Sunday, June 21, for the presidential runoff between Abelardo De La Espriella and Ivan Cepeda.
The vote comes after the first round on May 31 failed to produce an outright winner, setting up the second-round contest between the two leading candidates.
De La Espriella, an independent lawyer, has campaigned on tackling crime and corruption, reducing the size of the state, and stimulating economic growth.
Cepeda, a congressman since 2010, has pledged to expand social programmes aimed at reducing poverty and inequality, while promoting dialogue with armed groups.
More than 41 million Colombians are eligible to vote in the runoff. Turnout in the first round reached approximately 58 per cent.
