
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov holds a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Wang Yi, in Beijing on Tuesday, April 14.
The top diplomats are expected to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, including prospects for further contacts at various levels.
They are also expected to review cooperation on the international stage, with a focus on joint work within multilateral frameworks such as the UN, BRICS, the SCO, the G20 and APEC.
An extensive exchange of views is expected on a range of key global and regional issues, including the conflict in Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East.
As part of the visit, a ceremony for the signing of inter-ministerial consultations for 2026 is also expected to be held.
