The Artemis 2 mission sending four astronauts on a 10-day journey around the Moon and back launches from Kennedy Space Centre in Florida on Wednesday, April 1.
NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover and Christina Koch, along with Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen are on the trip. The mission will test the Orion spacecraft’s life-support systems with a crew for the first time and lay groundwork for future Artemis missions.
It marks the first crewed flight around the Moon since the Apollo programme in the late 1960s and early 70s.
